How to Set Up Wireless Apple CarPlay
- Ensure your smartphone is capable of utilizing wireless Apple CarPlay, and make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are both turned on
- On your Hyundai infotainment touchscreen, go to Setup > Wi-Fi > Use Wi-Fi for Phone Projection
- From there, go to Setup > Device Connections > Phone Projection > Add New
- On your mobile device, select your Hyundai vehicle from the Bluetooth menu and accept any Apple CarPlay permissions when prompted
- Follow the on-screen prompts on your Hyundai infotainment screen to complete setup
How to Set Up Apple CarPlay via USB
- On your Hyundai infotainment touchscreen, go to Setup > Connectivity > iOS > Enable Apple CarPlay
- Connect your compatible iPhone to your Hyundai with an Apple-certified cable - the USB port is generally located just below the infotainment screen
- On your Hyundai infotainment screen, a green Apple CarPlay logo may appear - select the icon to open up Apple CarPlay and select "Allow" on your iPhone screen
- Your iPhone and Hyundai are now connected with Apple CarPlay
