A Closer Look at the 2024 Hyundai Sonata
As state-of-the-art meets work of art, the new Sonata upgrades your time behind the wheel with tech-rich refinement inside and a sportier, ultramodern look on the outside. Dedicated to breaking new ground, the midsize sedan boldly states "out with the old and in with the new".
The 2024 Sonata features two 12.3-inch infotainment touch screens fitted to be a single curved display mount as well as a refined steering wheel for optimal comfort. The gear selector that used to be on the center console is now a knob situated on the steering column, as well. In addition to the redesigned daytime running lights spanning the width of the front bumper, the rear bumper cover and tail lights have also been refreshed.Â
All-wheel drive is now an option for Sonata models featuring the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The Sonata no longer has the 180-horsepower turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four powertrain, though Lima area drivers can still opt for the turbocharged 2.5-liter four with 290-horsepower, previously seen on the Sonata N Line trim.
